Trustee Vacancy (Voluntary Role)

Help Shape Opportunities for Local Young People

Rand’s Educational Foundation is seeking a new Trustee to join our dedicated team and help make a difference to the lives of young people in our local communities. This is a voluntary role.

As a registered charity, we provide financial support to young people under the age of 25 living in Ickleford, Holwell, Pirton and Lower Stondon. Through grants and funding, we help young people access educational, sporting, cultural and personal development opportunities that can positively influence their future.

This is a rewarding voluntary role that offers the chance to contribute your skills and experience to a long-established local charity. Trustees attend four meetings each year and play an important role in guiding the Foundation’s work and ensuring that our charitable funds continue to benefit local young people.

We would particularly welcome applications from people who can demonstrate experience or knowledge in one or more of the following:

  • Charity governance or previous Trustee experience
  • Investments and financial management
  • Property and estates management
  • Strong connections with, or knowledge of, Holwell, Ickleford, Pirton or Lower Stondon

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be capable of managing their own affairs
  • Not be disqualified from acting as a charity trustee under the Charities Act 2011
