Three pre-schools within our catchment area are currently awarded grants depending on the numbers of children attending. These are paid annually with the funds usually allocated to the purchase of new games, toys and creative materials.
Primary and pre-schools within our catchment area benefit from automatic annual grants based on the total number of students enrolled at the school. The funds are distributed annually and the school may allocate resource where it is required.
We also offer financial awards to young people living within our catchment area who are in full time education and training in sixth form and further education colleges. Applying for these awards is quick and simple and provides help with the extra cost of studying.
Students enrolled in higher education courses at universities and colleges may apply for a generous award to give them a little extra help whilst studying. These are available annually to students whose home address is within our defined catchment area.
We welcome speculative applications from individuals who are committed to excellence in their chosen field, be that music, dance, creative arts, sport or recreation, including World Challenge expeditions.
Additional funding is sometimes vital to voluntary organisations and Rand’s encourages applications from any organisation within its catchment area that engages young people. Awards are made to support sports clubs, scouts, cubs and guides amongst many others.
